1) Custom-made items (no statutory right of withdrawal)
All garments are made-to-measure based on the measurements and personal selections you provide (e.g., fabric, collar, cuffs, fit, design details).
For this reason, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made goods in accordance with § 312g (2) No. 1 BGB (Germany).
This means: No returns, cancellations, or exchanges due to preference, change of mind, or fit expectations once production has started.
2) Measurement confirmation (your approval before production)
Before production, you are asked to review and confirm your measurements and key selections. By confirming, you approve the creation of your custom garment.
3) Fit expectations & minor deviations (goodwill solutions)
Each piece is handmade. Minor deviations may occur and do not automatically constitute a defect if the garment is produced according to the confirmed measurements and specifications.
If the fit differs slightly from your expectations, we may offer a goodwill solution at our discretion, such as:
4) Defects, quality issues & wrong items (statutory rights remain)
If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect (e.g., wrong fabric or specifications compared to what was confirmed), please contact us immediately at hello@dehoogh.co and include photos.
Your statutory rights in case of defects remain unaffected. Depending on the situation, we will arrange:
repair / alteration,
replacement, or
refund (if a remedy is not possible or not reasonable).
5) Return process (only if approved)
Returns are only accepted if we have approved the return in writing. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
If a return is approved, we will provide instructions and the return address.
6) Refunds (only where legally required or approved)
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
